I noticed the last few rides I did on my mtb that the route/track is really inaccurate. There is a big difference in accuracy between my track, and of my friends track who uses a Garmin watch. My track has more or less straight lines, while my friends track follows the the actual path with all the turns.
I know that my watch uses the GPS on my phone. I have the feeling that it doesn't "ask" often enough what my location is, therefore it misses a lot of turns I make. Is there an option to improve this.
I tried adding a picture of the difference between my track and that of my friends. But haven't figured out how to do this.
Edit: the difference in km is also really big. We did the same trail, Fitbit says I biked 17,82 km, while Garmin stated 19,78 km.
