The step counter on my fitbit 3 is not bright enough to see, if it was the same as the clock face there would be no problem, can it be done??

Aha, hadn’t see the rooms so forgot about them. Open a Live Chat with them
under Help and maybe you can get answers.

If the charge 3 is so dim it's unreadable how do you scroll to the settings and choose an option?

If you can’t get to a dark enough room to be able to see the front screen and scroll to see Settings, you’re best bet is to do a Chat with them. I took pictures of how dim my display was and emailed when asked. I received a new watch.

My charge 3 screen is so dark I can't find the "brightness" setting to make the notifications  brighter.  How do I solve this

I did this too. I had to go into a very dark room in order to be able to
see the screen at all. Then take it off dim. I can't remember now how to
do that now. I Google it before I tried to do

If you tried going to a dark room and still can’t see the display to brighten it, you need to contact the company. I did a Chat. They sent me a new watch.

If you can see the time display, scroll right 3 times (actually swipe the display from right to left) to see Weather at the top and Settings at the bottom. Click Settings and your choices will be Brightness and Vibrations. Click on Brightness to scroll through Dim, Normal, and Auto.

Thank you, but I couldn’t even see the time. My screen looked completely black, but I knew that it was charged because it did vibrate. I reached out to Fitbit and spoke to them on the live chat and after they led me through several steps, determined that my Fitbit was not repairable and they will be sending me a new one!!

Please excuse any typo errors....enjoy your day... Peace...Jean

Thank you, yes, I had to have my Fitbit replaced because the screen couldn't be improved. However, I've now found my new Fitbit unit won't stay fixed to the strap either side. It's as if the little lugs that you depress to release the strap have too little spring in them, so don't spring back out to grip the inside of the strap and stay secure. Not sure what the solution is. It's both ends of the new unit. So frustrating!

Yes, me too. I was very disappointed because I loved my Alta and only decided to upgrade to Charge 3 because the Alta battery was running down much too quickly and I thought, Hey, an upgrade will be better!
