The step counter on my fitbit 3 is not bright enough to see, if it was the same as the clock face there would be no problem, can it be done??

I would say nothing can be done other than to contact Customer Service.
Sorry.

Can’t increase brightness from fitbit itself if I can’t read to know what screen I’m on!  There has to be another way. I know it’s not dead because it vibrates and tracks, but the display is all but non existent.

I abandoned and purchased Apple. Been a Fitbit user for 10-15 years. Needed an answer and had to decide to spend 200+ on a new fit bit or take the leap.
Snooze you loose.
Love my new spoke watch and I have only started learning it.

Ive emailed customer support. If they don’t help then I’m going to get the Samsung one tomorrow 😄 I’ve had all the charges so far so it seems a shame to leave Fitbit
I can’t afford the Apple.

Apple watch 5 40mm no cellular is on sale for $300. It’s totally worth considering all the features that it has as a real smart watch, plus the longevity I’ve seen with my friends’. What’s that saying? Cheaper is not less expensive.

Update to clarify: Costco still has it at $300. Best Buy had the same price a few days ago but I just checked and it’s now $400.

My Fitbit charge 3 is 18 months old. I cannot read displays. Any suggestions?

If case you haven’t read any of my replies, your best course of action is
to contact customer service. I actually opened a Chat. Mine was about 6
months old and they replaced it.

I did see your post, and contacted them since I had done all the other suggestions noted in this thread. They refused to replace mine, saying it was out of the warranty period. Offered me 25% off a new one.

Sorry to hear that. I believe since my device was under 1 year (actually @ 6 months) they replaced mine.
So far, the new one works fine!

I am still using mine, I can see indoors is light is right. I had hard reset it . Will probably go for an apple watch when this quits. I am dissapointed in the support this item has.

So sorry to hear this. We live in a disposable society nowadays. Rarely is

Me too. It’s obviously a recurring issue. Disappointing that Fitbit isn’t fixing it or standing behind it when it fails. Until I get another one it’s still tracking, just useless in the moment as a HR monitor or watch. Screen is completely black.

Thank you I will definitely try to call customer service. But from what I've read with other posts Fitbit just wants to offer a 25% discount on a new purchase.

As a business owner it saddens me to say that not all businesses stand behind their product.

Opened a chat. It said I had 60 people ahead of me. In the IAs I could email and they were very good with customer service. I don’t have hours to wait for a chat or a phone to open up.

Fit Bit lost a multi year customer and advocate.
I had a older devices I’ve passed on after upgrading. They still work. But my newest device, no dice.
