Hello @qumhh and welcome to the Community. I searched old posts in the Community and can't find any reports of injury. Users who sent their Fitbits through the washer and dryer fell lucky if it still works. If you think there might be soap residue, Google recommends wiping you Fitbit with plain water when it come into contact with anything that isn't plain water.
It's possible that your altimeter could have been damaged. My high efficiency washer on the high spin setting generates a lot of g-forces. I don't think my Fitbit could survive my washer.

Afraid of getting injured? If your Fitbit is working, I can't see any reason why you might sustain an injury. What sort of injury could a Fitbit inflict? Just put it on and check it works 100%.
