I'm sorry but they are not interchangeable

But I'm sure you will love the charge 3!

Of course they aren't interchangeable!

May I suggest rebooting your device if the band doesn't fit?

That's what Fitbit tech support would say.

Please excuse my ignorance but how and why would you "Re-Boot" your FitBit?

@Sals57   Re-booting or restarting your tracker is a common first choice if there are syncing issues, GPS issues and generally acting wonky.  If the device doesn't respond to anything, then you put your Charge 3 in the charging cable with it plugged into an approved charging port, then press and hold the button for about 8 seconds.  You can also restart it from the device Settings.

But this is a thread about changing bands.  Seems to me like the previous statement was made by someone who felt that the support techs aren't very supportive.

Of course not. Fitbit couldn’t make more money that way.😡

I loved changing the bands to different colors and have invested in a lot of them. Now that my Fitbit is wearing out, to find out that the bands are not interchangeable to a newer Fitbit is just unkind to the customer. You already have customers buying an expensive product that eventually dies. To make the accessories of all the cool bands and the charger not interchangeable to a future Fitbit replacement is flat out unfair to the customer and shameful to the environment by having to throw away bands and a charger that you can no longer use. I’m rethinking sticking with Fitbit, even though it was a good ‘run’.
