Can I view live heart rate in a user-friendly way?

My fitbit dashboard looks like this. Is there some way to either (1) watch my heart rate full-screen, and in a mode that does not make my phone go to sleep when inactive, similar to a Youtube video, or (2) a way to view my heart rate on my fitbit watch, without having to press the button or make an awkward hand gesture every time I want to check it? Either one would do, really. Just looking for a reliable way to check my heart rate while running without fiddling with stuff.
