Love my Fitbit but hate that my screen has cracked down the middle. I have not dropped it or done anything weird just put it in charge and woke up to a cracked screen. It seems to have warped and now I cannot read the time etc. still works and syncs to phone but cannot use it as a watch 😢 Seems to be a common occurrence with these watches. Can you get the screen replaced?

Did you take it back to John Lewis? Check out your consumer rights as your contract of purchase was with John Lewis. This is obviously a fault in the design as so many have had this problem. John Lewis must be aware of this too. Good luck!

Thank you for all your feedback about the product and policies @a1smith.
It's good to know that you've received a discount for a new purchase @erma0929, thank you for the update.
@StevelnNZ, @ReneeSAPM, I've sent your information to the Customer Support team for further assistance, so you should be getting a reply soon. They will let you know about the options available for you; I hope everything goes well.
I'm sorry to see that your experience was negative with the Customer Support team @SunsetRunner, every case is reviewed separately and it's possible the device was out of warranty. You can check the complete policy here, which would start counting from the date of purchase.
Excellent, thank you for sharing your experience @PamS321, it's good to know you'll be receiving a replacement soon.
I've been informed that you already contacted the Customer Support team about this @curlytops16, so you should be getting a reply soon. I hope everything goes well.
Keep me posted.

Still no admission from Fitbit that it’s an inherent fault.

Way toooooo many people with the same problem and no solution but to buy another fitbit. Why would anyone spend more money only to have it crack again? Either replace the screen or replace the whole unit. There is a defect in the material. Waste of time , customer service doesn't want to help....Shame!!!

And they came out with the charge 3. But if you search the forum for a cracked screen on the 3, it seems like it has the same issue!!!!

Strange that out of all the people on this forum, only 1 is claiming that she received a replacement even though hers was out of warranty like the rest of us. Makes you wonder???!!! The rest of us, and there are quite a few of us, were only offered a 25% discount.

Mine looks the same. Nice to know that fitbit is not taking responsibility for the defect in so many of them. This will be the last time I ever buy a fitbit.....

I have had this same thing happen with 2 fitbits in a row and they said they can no longer help me. I want another one but I'm concerned the same thing will happen.

My fitbit versa was only 7 months old when I woke up to it having a crack in it.....they wont fix or replace it. I should have spent the extra 100 dollars and bought the iphone....I know they would have fixed it ....
