Love my Fitbit but hate that my screen has cracked down the middle. I have not dropped it or done anything weird just put it in charge and woke up to a cracked screen. It seems to have warped and now I cannot read the time etc. still works and syncs to phone but cannot use it as a watch 😢 Seems to be a common occurrence with these watches. Can you get the screen replaced?

Thank you everyone for your updates. As some of you mentioned if you are in the UK/EU the warranty period is of 2 years. You can check this in the warranty article. Feel free to let our Support team where you are contacting them from to help expedite the process.

I'll be around.

Well I’m sure that is new.....but thank you Fitbit for giving us 2 years which we definitely need (unless of course you are going to say that a cracked screen isn’t included in warranty this when we all know it should be)

Fitbit asked me to send them a photo of the screen and a handwritten note with a reference number. Then I got a choice of replacement or a discount if I wanted to buy a different model. Very happy with the service.

If your in warranty they should replace pebble. I just had to send a picture and they replaced it the same day. I live in uk as well.

My solution is not to buy any more of their products.  My screen cracked just outside of the warranty.  It may have been sooner.  When I first noticed it, I thought it was a scratch.  Since then it's become much more prominent and is obviously a crack.  It's just like all the others in this thread.  When this many people have the same problem and you don't take care of them, you clearly don't want them to be your customers.

I cannot agree more. I had one crack in warranty and replacement has now cracked as well but Fitbit tell me the replacement is not covered by the same 2 year warranty as a purchased new one would have! Company policy! I really cannot accept that this is justified or fair when this is a known manufacturing defect that has been happening for years! And is still happening. After much research there appears to be a link to high temperature making the screen crack? But why do Fitbit not test and advise owners what temperature they are not safe to wear.  Perhaps because this would indicate guilt on selling a product that is not of sufficient quality to be fit for purpose and one that will not last a reasonable amount of time! Come on Fitbit take responsibility and act fairly.

Just had my second fitbit charge2 screen cracked down the middle. The first about 2 years ago. I would like to get it replaced but fear it is no longer under warranty. This is a recognised manufacturing fault has anyone had there's replaced in this situation please?

I have exactly the same experience and the second one I have been told, that as it is a replacement item, it does not gave the same warranty as a new one and therefore not covered. All they will offer is a 25% discount off another. Which if you shop around will only save you a few pounds on the cost from using the discount off buying through Fitbit direct.

But what about the replacements? My wife got a replacement last October and her two year warranty runs until this October. Her replacement has now cracked in exactly the same way.

Is it covered?

Voted with my feet. Gone and bought an Oura ring and ditched my Fitbit.

No no more money from our family.

I had exactly the same issue and I have been told that Fitbit warranty does not apply to the replacement pebble and therefore all that has been offered is a 25% discount off a new one from Fitbit direct. Which will only save a few pounds to one you can buy elsewhere. Appalling that the same 2 year warranty does not apply to a replacement unit - surely this is unfair?

Not a chance of replacing your watch, maybe a 25% discount on a new one
