Can't add Nationwide cards to Fitbit after Google Wallet upgrade

I have a Charge 3 SE which now has all my cards added to the google wallet, but I can't add my Nationwide Building Society card (UK).

This page implies Nationwide cards are not supported - anyone else having the same issue? Nationwide haven't got a clue about this (they say they're not preventing me adding the card when i spoke to them), but it sounds like they need to make some code changes to enable this... Do we expect more banks to be added anytime soon?

@aljsimons   Google Wallet for Fitbit is different from Google Pay on your phone.  Based on some other posts, I think some banks don’t understand the difference.  If your bank isn’t on the list, then it doesn’t support Google Wallet for Fitbit.
