Can't change the clock face on my Charge 3

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I recently changed my clock face.  I am not happy with the new face, however,  when I return to the app to find a new one, I am getting only faces suitable to smart watches, i.e, multi color and animated.  Where can I find Charge 3 faces?  I am choosing the same options as I did before

..

Hello there @Prp2.0, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided, I'll be glad to help you to change the clock face on your Charge 3.

To change your clock face:

  1. With your device nearby, in the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image.
  2. Tap Clock Faces  > All Clocks.
  3. Browse the available clock faces. Tap the clock face you want and tap Select to install it.
  4. Sync your device to see the change.

If the steps above don't work, I suggest restarting your Charge 3 and logging out of the Fitbit app. Then, log back in and try the steps above once again.

Give this a go and let me know the outcome.

Thank you for agreeing to help.

I tried both, but still no luck. When I go into my account, it shows that I have a charge 3, but the option I get is “Smartwatch Apps and Clock Faces” and the only clock faces are not Charge 3 faces, but are very data intense, animated, multicolor smartwatch faces. No plain black and white option appear.

thanks for your quick response .These are the kind of options that are coming up when I go to change the clockface but as you can see they aren't the kind that are compatible for the charge 3. I have tried looking through multiple clockface but none seem to work for the charge 3 and I can't find a way to filter the options to show compatible ones. Many thanks, Emily

Hello there @BraveShark, thanks for the screenshots provided.

Taken a look at them, it seems that you're not in the Fitbit app but in your phone's browser. I double check ed in my Fitbit app and I only get only the clock faces available for my Charge 3.

If you're in the Fitbit app, can you please send me screenshots step-by-step of what you're doing in order to get to the last 2 photos attached?

These are the steps I'm taking from the fitbit app (clicking onto the my account area, then at the bottom clicking on Smartwatch Apps and Clockfaces, then on see all) but it does seem like when I click onto the clockface it takes me onto some kind of browser page rather than still within the app, the same as it appears now when I click to go onto the help forum. Thanks for your continued efforts to help!

Thanks for all your help, the issue seems to be solved now- when I went back into my account area I had a pop up type thing asking me to link fitbit to my charge 3 and when I accepted the charge 3 appeared under devices and I've been able to change the clockface as usual from there. Thanks so much for looking into it for me anyway!

Glad it worked for you. Mine lists the Charge 3 as my device, but I still
get smartwatch options.

Hello there @Prp2.0, thanks for getting back.

If you're getting the same screens than @BraveShark, please when you go to your profile picture don't scroll down and select "Smartwatch apps and Clock Faces", instead look for your device image (Charge 3 that is just right below your profile picture) and select the option that says "Clock Faces". Once you get here, you'll be able to select the clock faces available for your Charge 3.

Finally figured this out. After I tap Today, then my profile picture, I
tap on the picture of the Charge 3 and a new window opens with clock faces,
apps, settings, accessories, and a How to Use manual.

They sure do make it difficult!
