Can’t get messenger notifications

I can’t seem to get messages from Facebook messenger. I have a page that I run on Facebook and I can’t get messages on my Fitbit from when people message me?

Does this happens only with Facebook messages?

On the app settings, have you chosen Facebook or Facebook messenger?

Do you  have allowed your Fitbit app to run on the background?

Hi yes I have notifications set up for Facebook and messenger. I have also been through the ‘how to set up notifications’ so many times and it still doesn’t work.

@Tinaspoon , Thank you for your reply and further information. 

Please follow these steps, some of which you have already done, but the order is important:

• Restart your Charge 4.
• Please on mobile, go to Settings>Bluetooth, and remove all connections that exist with the tracker. (Forget, ignore or unpair device depending on the phone OS version)
• Turn off Bluetooth and restart your phone. (switch off and on again).
• When the phone is back on, turn on the Bluetooth again, but DO NOT attempt to connect to the tracker from here.
• Go on the app. From here, try setting up the tracker as a new device.

have you solved the issue? I have the same problem, with what's up it works, with FB messenger doesn't. Only see info that there's incoming message which is not shown on the band, when I choose "open" it doesn't open the messenger.

Ok, I found the problem. In case notification in fb messenger is set to not to show name and text on the cellphone screen i won't appear on the band too. If you enable this option then it works on the band
