After my fitbit was not functioning anymore I decided to disconnect it, as a kind of reset hoping it would function again as it used to.
But as soon as the fitbit charge3 shows a 4digit number and I try to connect my IPhone and fitbit charge3 together again, by entering the number a failure massage shows up “there was a problem communicating with your tracker, Please try again”. If I try again, same problem appears again. So I can’t get my Fitbit Charge3 reconnected.
(As far as I can see I have been trying what is within my own possibilities to solve this issue.
please help me out.
Kind regards,
Roland

My Fitbit won’t connect today either. Tried everything but removing it from my account. Shows up on Bluetooth one minute but not the next.

I can’t get mine to charge or reconnect to iPhone - the screen has come on and has some moving circles and 001 displayed but can’t get it do anything at all

I am in the same boat. I have spent hours today trying everything to get my charge 3 back up. I have literally tried everything. I am so frustrated. I dont know what to do.
I made the mistake of unpairing my phone and my charge. I get to the 4 number pin, put it in, and then nothing. It just sits there spinning.
I have restarted the phone and the charge tons of times. I deleted the app and reinstalled it. I've even reset my network connections on the phone. I have done everything anyone on the boards has suggested.
Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

Has anyone gotten technical support for this? My charge 3 has an update, but it won’t update because it says it is not connected. I don’t have data from the past 2 days (Saturday and Sunday). This is frustrating

Looks as if others have this problem, but there are no answers! Going to the FitBit web site does not help either. I don't know what to do now.

My Charge 3 says there is an update, too, but it won't. I too, haven't seen data from the last two days. Don't know where to go for help.

Same here, followed all recommended guidelines to try and successfully start syncing again. Unpaired it, now it won't even finish connecting after inputting the 4 digit code.
Tried all the steps suggested by a community moderator in this thread, but still no luck. So many of us having the same problem suggests it's could be a software / update issue. I hope we don't have to wait too long for a bug fix.

I have same problem. For more than a week now. Very frustrated. I need my exercise data to be synced so I can provide it to my health insurance provider.
Fitbit, what are you doing to fix this?

I'm having the same issue. Did the update in October and it never synced properly after that (would sometimes log my steps but not exercise, sleep or hr) so uninstalled the app, rebooted the fit bit. Nothing seems to be working. I enter the 4 digit code and like everyone states here it just spins until it times out.

I have the same problem. Charge 3 will not reconnect to my Iphone. Sometimes bluetooth is working for a short time, then it fails. I tried an other sportswatch to connect with my Iphone, and it worked properly. But my Charge 3 is not working. Please Fitbit, provideus with a solution.

Ditto. Mine has been since August 29th when I when the system told me to do an update to my fitbit. Since then I have repeatedly tried syncing to my phone - even an old phone. Like others say it would appear in Bluetooth one minute, then disappear. It would be "syncing" for an hour yet nothing came through. I followed the Help instructions turn off bluetooth, turn off phone, remove it and re-install, and ran into the same problem as everyone else - four digit code then "try again". I was finally able to get it to connect with my laptop tonight. Unfortunately in the process I lost all my prior information for the past few years, and have no sleep data. Not happy. I have been a Fitbit owner since 2013.

Hi. I was finally able to pair my Charge 3 with my laptop tonight. Tried earlier but it did not work. It also synced the exercise since Sunday. But for last week Sunday through Friday it shows 0 steps, which is obviously not possible. Even if I had not exercised, which I definitely did, it should have recorded my steps from walking to the car, or walking through the shops etc. Still unable to connect to phone (Android). I also tried connecting Charge 3 to Ipad as well as Android tablet, but didn't work. Laptop also did not work earlier. I am thankful that it finally connected tonight, but what about all the exercise from last week that did not sync?
Fitbit problems. 0 steps = impossible.

I got in touch with fitbit on Facebook. They suggested unpairing in Bluetooth settings and if that doesn't work factory reset on device. I had to do a reset you lose your data but a it does work and my tracker is now reconnected
