Can't get wristband on Charge 2 to 'snap' back on

Hi, I have followed Fitbit's Help article on how to change wristbands on my Charge 2 (https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2084/?q=strap&l=en_US&fs=Search&pn=1), but one side just won't stay on - it doesn't 'snap' on like the other side does and just kind of slide on then slips off! Wiggling the band a little doesn't help either.  😞

Any tips gratefully received! TIA.

Let me help you with your Charge 2 band. Thank you for checking the band and the instructions. Try pulling the metal tab to the outside to it better secures the tracker.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately it's still not working properly
for me - upon closer inspection, I think it might actually be broken. So
I've gone and ordered a new strap.
