Can't re-pair Charge 2 with phone

I was having issues with my watch synking yesterday, I only noticed as the time was wrong on the watch and was throwing me off all day. So I tried absolutely everything to get it to sync, to no avail so I deleted the tracker from my account with the hope of adding it back on and problem solved. When I try and pair it now, it produces the 4 digit code on my fitbit but when I type it in to my phone gets stuck on connecting and then fails with no further assistance. So I am trying to add my own Fitbit charge 2 back to my account and it gets stuck after the 4 digit code. I have tried every solution listed, restarting my phone and fitbit several times each, resetting the bluetooth connection several times, resetting my internet connection several times, re opening the app several times and even re installing the app and it all just gets stuck at the point after receiving the code, so any feedback would be appreciated

Let me help you setting up your Charge 2 and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Which phone are you using? Is it compatibleYou can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. 
  • You can find additional suggestions here.
