Can't read text messages on Charge 3

Hey just got a new Fitbit charge 3, I am getting notifications on my fitbit. I can see calls and read emails, but I cant read text messages. Can anyone help with this??

I did get the problem fixed, I had to change my text feature in my phone.

Welcome on board @Sweetea07, it's nice to see you around the Community Forums! I'm glad to hear that you were able to sort this out! 

If you're on Android app, if the preview message is off then it won't preview through Fitbit either, no matter what you set it to through the app. So, check it by going to Settings --> Device --> Applications --> Messages --> Notifications --> Must be on, pop-up display switched on, and Preview Message on.
