I have a Charge 3. I can’t read the watch face in sunshine. Anyone else have this problem? My glasses change into dark glasses with the sun. I can’t see stats when i’m Walking outside. On my prior Fitbit there were clock faces that were white with black text.

This did not work for me.
I contacted Fitbit and they want me to ship back my Fitbit and wait a month to get a replacement Fitbit. This is not customer service.

I can tell by all the issues with reading the face and seeing the details that this device is just not meant for jogging outside and being an instantaneous tracker.
Sighhh ... I wanted to get away from the chest strap for heart rate and was hopeful on Fitbit.

It used to be great outside until the last firmware update. I wish that we could revert back to the old firmware version.

I have my fitbit set to the brightest setting, but with my sunglasses on i still cant read the screen. I have to stop an remove my shade to see my progress. Just FYI.

This didn't work for me either. Paying £130 for something to work for only 18 months is not very good. Could someone please contact me about where I go from here?

This did not work for me either. I have tried restarting my fitbit and no luck i haven’t even had my fitbit a year and since the last update the display has faded over time. I have a charge 3 and i used to be able to see it all the time then i did the update and I started not being able to see it in sunlight now i can’t even see it in a pitch black room! What should i do as this is very frustrating I literally just wear it to track my stats now not to tell the time or get notifications through the day. It doesn’t even tell me when it needs charging! Very disappointed.

Me also, I wonder if the fitbit 4 is any better with this problem in the sun?

Hello everyone. @Wraiththe Welcome to the community forums.
Thank you for your interest in the Charge 4. Regarding your question, I'd like to let you know that the Charge 4 also counts with a brightness setting that can be adjusted according to your needs.
I'd recommend visiting this link and scroll down in the link to check features and specs for the Charge 4. Also, if you want to get more inputs or information about the Charge 4, I recommend visiting the Charge 4 manual or the Charge 4 board where other users can provide additional input.
Hope this helps.

That is all find and dandy, but if the screen is the same and is no brighter or has the same contrast.... I still will not be able to see it in the daylight.
Also, for some reason my brightness sometimes goes to auto or dim, even though I always set it to normal.
(Still cannot see normal in daylight. I can't really see dim... even in the dark.
