Long time Fitbit owner. Just got my Charge 3 today..specifically for the added functionality of being able to get text and phone call notifications. Phone call notifications work. Text messages do not. My default messenger was "Textra". No messages despite having it checked in notifications (see photo). Since I thought it was a compatibility issue, I switched over to the stock phone messaging app. Again...no texts are getting through. What's going on?
Disappointed this has to be so difficult, Fitbit. Sigh.
I've included a screen shot. If you need further screen shots from my phone to help solve this nonsense, please let me know.

What phone are you using?

I've just noticed something odd, which leads me to believe it's a problem with the APP.
When I'm on a phone call, I CAN receive text messages.
As soon as I hang up, I can't receive text messages. The text messages that I received when I was on the phone disappear from my Charge as soon as I hang up the phone and I get the screen that says "Nothing New Here. You're all caught up" No messages.
Very odd indeed.
Anyone with ideas?
I'm using a Galaxy S8 with latest update. All apps on the phone are updated.
Every other notification works (email, phone, etc) Only text messaging seems affected.

I already went through the above posted trouble shooter before I posted here.
I think it's the app more than ever now. I tried switching to several different text apps. First I would switch texting apps under "Text Messages" within the app. But when you go into "App Notifications" in the Fitbit app, whatever texting app you've selected is grayed out and doesn't allow you to select it.
I tried the OEM Messages, Textra and Signal. All no go.

I have the same issues with Galaxy S10+ and Charge 3 using the stock messaging app. Got it working for a little while the other day (twice) and now its not again. Tried un-installing, resetting, unpairing....the whole deal. Cannot get texts.
