Followed your instructions as my screen was frozen as well for the first time (Christmas present). Now it’s working again and I am thrilled! Thanks so much!

Here is my story.

I am getting the exact problem, the band syncs, turns on, but stucks on a page. In my case it is the next page after the clock face.

I did couple tries. Reset using the charger and pressing for 20 secs, Changing the clock faces, Changing the language settings. Phone-side, it looks all normal. Band-site, nothing changes.

I chatted with support, and was issued a replacement. I am ok with this solution. But since I am away from my home. I want to have this fixed by myself. What i tried is to empty the battery. I did this by setting a number of alarms and eventually the battery ran out.

Surprisingly, 5 secs after I connected the band to the charger, the stuck page comes back!

Emptying the charge does NOT solve this problem!!!

Thank you for the tip about using a tool. I ended up having to use a screwdriver. It took.a couple tries as I had to find just the right spot on the button to push on and then use more force than I initially thought was needed. Finally got it and it is working fine now.

I have tried everything on here to get my fitbit to scroll and nothing has worked. I get no smiley faces, nothing.

It is tricky to hold the so-called button down long enough while the watch is in the charger, which seems to be necessary. If this doesn’t work, call tech support.

Lizzyfitbit: I have this problem occasionally and have been able to fix it by either resetting or by just changing the clock face. So, I’m good as long as those 2 techniques continue to work.

  • Changing which charger I used for the Fit bit helped me solve the problem.

I had been plugging the fit bit USB into my computer and I could not get the device to restart with the directions here. I switched the charger that I was using to my phone's wall charger (into which I plugged the Fit bit charging USB plug). That worked for me. I got it restarted and now I can scroll through the information on the watched again
