I have tried resetting and did get a smiley face. But the scrolling still doesn’t work. This is a brand new fitbit

I tried the 8 second trick & got the smiley face & I tried the 15 second trick & got the blank screen. Scrolling still doesn’t work. This was a Christmas gift given to me & it only worked properly for 1.5 days. That’s unacceptable.

My Fitbit, which I got for Christmas, stopped scrolling when I tried changing the clock face. I have tried both resets too and it has made no difference. Also tried changing the clock face again and that hasn’t worked. Fit bit won’t scroll or respond to taps and the screen where you turn the screen wake and notifications on and off doesn’t respond to taps either. Help please!

Ik heb geen idee. Hij zegt ik moet een kaart kopen en in the wallet doen.
Ik heb de lange restart gedaan en toen deed hij het weer. Vanmorgen kon ik
ook ni et scrollen maar na uit en aan doen deed hij het weer. Ik heb dit
horloge ruim twee weken en ben hier niet blij mee

The 8 second restart worked to get my Charge 3 scrolling again.  OK, shouldn't happen, but I appreciate the moderators help.

I have the same problem with my new Charge 3.  How long should I wait for the Tracker to restart before pushing the button again?  Held for 8 seconds.  Screen went blank and hasn't come back with a smiley face yet  😞

Try holding down longer is all I can suggest.  Eight seconds worked on mine.

I could scroll but I couldn’t tap on the face to get the steps, heart rate, calories burned, stairs climbed etc. That’s really imperative when I’m on a fitness machine like an elliptical. I tried all the resets and hard resets to no avail. Then I remembered the last issue I had was remedied by changing the clock face. It worked!  I can only say that this is weird and not acceptable for the price you pay for these gadgets. Only a month old. Frustrating!

I agree. Mine is new and it’s locked up on me. Was able to reset. But I was home near my cable. If it’s that big of a hassle they should fix the bug or exchange Fitbit.

Thank you so much for this info!  This solved my problem!  I was getting worried my Fitbit Charge 3 was broken!  I've only had my Fitbit for about three weeks and have enjoyed it up to the point where I could not scroll to see my displays this morning!  THANK YOU again!
