Can't see live hr data nor getting correct sleep logs

For the last couple of weeks, on the mobile app (both Apple and Android) and even on the dashboard on my Mac, it does not show current heart rate. Just showing the resting HR. However, it does show correct reading on the fitbit.
Also noticed it is not registering sleep time properly. E.g. though I hit the bed and slept off in minutes (at around 10:30 pm, log shows sleep time at 12:40 am. This behaviour is noticeable at least 2 -3 times in a week.

@SuryaPrasad Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well!

Let me help you with your hr and sleep data. Try clearing the bluetooth connection from your devices by doing the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

After this only sync with one device to ensure the link between them as the other may interfere with it.

Regarding sleep your device will start recording sleep after it detects an hour of inactivity. If you have a light sleep or move too much then this may difficult your sleep detection. Additionally you can try wearing your device on your non dominant hand to decrease the amount of movement it is subjected to. Finally you can restart your device. You can also manually log your sleep time. You can read more about sleep detection here.

Let me know how it goes.
