Hello all,
Yesterday I bought a Charge 2 and since then I am trying to set it up. I've read most of the posts about this topic and tried everything but unfortunately nothing works.
- When I attach the power cable to charge the Fitbit, it vibrates but it doesn't show a battery icon. The only thing I see on the screen is the little phone icon and the text "www.fitbit.com/setup". Is this normal?
- I have tried to pair the Charge 2 to my phone (Sony Xperia Z3) using the Fitbit app on the phone and followed the setup steps. However, after typing in the 4 digit code and waiting for a while it shows the "Not working?" text with options to solve the problem. I tried those a number of times but it still does not work. Also I restarted my mobile a couple of times, turned oft and on Bluetooth many times, etc.
- Since setting up did not work with my phone I downloaded the Fitbit App to my Windows 10 computer but the same thing happenens, I can't setup!
- I tried to find a description how to factory reset the Charge 2 but it turns out, there's none :(.
I am very disappointed, irritated and desperate. I hope that someone can give me a solution. Please help!! Thanks in adavance.

I called customer service and they told me the problem was my computer. NOT> I tried two other computers and I still can not activate this device. I do not have a smart phone. I have had two charge HR in the past. Both fell apart. This one seems to have fixed the cheezy charging system, but I can not add it to my account. I am waiting for a new dongle for my computer hoping that the old one is not working.

If you guys would like help it would be helpful to know what type of device is being used to setup the Charge 2 and at what step the process fails.

I have the charger 2 device and I also have the Alta but I am not having trouble with the Alta device but I am having trouble with the charger 2 device and I can see the blue tooth paired with my fitbit charger2 but I am not able to get past the code to complete the setup

The first thing you need to do @cocoabeach is to unpair the Charge 2 from your phones bluetooth. Having it paired usually keeps the Fitbit app from being able to see the tracker. This pairing needs to be done by the fitbit app, not the user.
I'm not sure what you mean by can't get past the code.
Does the tracker display a code?
Can you enter the code into the app?
If so then what happens?

I've been able to get it to pair with the Bluetooth but I have been wearing my old one

Hello @cocoabeach I'm not sure if your setting up through a phone or computer .
If your setting up through a phone, you have created your problem. As explained above, the user can not pair the tracker to the Bluetooth of the phone, if the user does the pairing, to the phone, . . the setup process will fail .
This pairing. if needed, needs to be done by the fitbit app. .
What is happening that you can't get past the code?

has the tracker been removed from your phones Bluetooth settings yet?
Does the tracker display the 4 digit code? Where you able to type the 4 digits into the app?

Well it's 2018, my original hr failed to work after a while so got a hr2 replacement.. This is failing to setup on pc, xz1 and ipad Pro.
It loses connection or has pairing issue messages.
Emailed customer services so shall wait a response but not happy.

Hi I need help have just purchased a new charge 2 after my charge HR gave up the ghost and don't seem to be able to charge it up, the watch vibrates as if to charge but the charging symbol does appear so I can't set it up

Your not suppose to see the icon @Reshape.
The vibration is telling you that the tracker is charging.
What happens when you tried to set it up?
At what step did it fail?
Did you see any error messages?
