For starters I saw the thread from two years ago.
I've seen the vote for updates that has 7000+ votes all complaining about the inability to sleep..
So here is my beating a dead horse question
Has anyone sorted out how to keep the charge 2 from lighting up? Yes I have quickview turned off.
It is also hapening to my wife's Charge 3 so it's not an isolated issue.
I'm not wanting to wear a long sleeve shirt. I don't want to tape the screen and I for sure don't want to wear a tennis band on top of the watch. What I want to do at this point is throw the thing in the garbage. But then it will probably light up the garbage can as well.
I think the screen is too sensitive and probably something that a firmware update won't even fix. But hey I'm not a tech genious.

@Bigtoepfer A warm welcome to our Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.
Let me help you with your's and your wife's devices lighting up at night and thank you for reading the suggestions. The only thing I could add is that you wear your tracker a little bit tighter to avoid it bouncing too much as this will definitely light it up. Still thank you for your feedback.
Let me know how it goes.

@AlvaroFitbit I've tried wearing it tight and loose, currently its on my arm and shaking it around won't light it up. However if the wristband is bumped causing it to pull down on the face of the Charge 2 especially it will take that as a touch and light up.
I can try tightening it again tonight. But for the last two nights i haven't worn it at all and slept better. But one reason i bought it was to track my sleep. (-_-)
