Can't start challenges nor seeing friends

Since the update with Fitbit, I can no longer start a challenge on my phone or Kindle fire Alexa. Friends are not showing on my list. 

Moto 5 phone

 

This all worked before Fitbit changed

  • It did not work. Also 11 challenges need to come off. I have five starting and I get the message I am at my limit. Still no friends when wanting to start a challenge.

I started a goal day and I can not add friends. So it is just me tomorrow. I sure hope this gets fixed soon! Please. My notifications says
" can not connect to fit bit" do I have to invite all my friends again? This is a pain.
