Yesterday my fitbit stopped syncing and won't turn on when I tap on it-I have to hit the side button. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

Began seeing the same thing within the past few days. It's compounded by the 'dim screen' problem.

Have you checked the screen brightness setting?
Are you tapping or touching the screen. This has a touch screen and only needs a light touch.

Wow! I was panicking because my Charge 3 wouldn’t respond to my constant tapping....didn’t realise that a light touch was all it takes to wake up the screen! Thank you for saying that!! 🙂

Oh....I spoke too soon....it doesn’t respond now to a light touch at all.....I guess there IS something wrong. This is a replacement pebble as FitBit agreed my last one was defective. It got so dim that I couldn’t read it at all!! Perhaps this has a fault too? 😞

A light touch doesn't work..brightness says normal.

Mines the same but I have been in contact with fitbit and they are going to send me a replacement
