Can the display brightness be adjusted? My Charge 3 is not bright enough in normal lighting settings.

I restarted it following the instructions online and nothing changed. Any other ideas? Thanks -

Thanks for the idea. I have a charge 3 and followed instructions online, on the fitbit page/help, on the fitbit app, downloaded the awooche fitbit clock faces app (I tried selecting two and it said I couldn't use them with my fitbit) - everything I could think of and nothing works. Anything else? I'm really stumped......!

I have tried changing the clock face, too, with no success. My charge 3 was nice and bright until just recently, after an update. I honestly thought it was me Glad it wasn't but would like a resolution. Have tried restarting and changed the to auto and back to normal for brightness without improvement.
I'll be following this thread. Thanks for posting.

I have the same issue with mine. Me and my partner both brought charge 3’s at the same time and his display seems much brighter.

Thank you, Alejandra, for the update. The display on my fitbit is so dim at this point, it's unusable to choose "exercise" or any other actions....which is disappointing, since my main use of it is to track my running. I hope that a solution is available soon.

I have also tried everything that was mentioned in this forum to try to get my tracker brighter while outside. I spoke to Cez on the online chat and he said this is a problem with the Charge 3. I have finally gotten to the point where I am totally annoyed with not being able to see the time while outside. This seems to have been going on quite a long time with the Charge 3. I am up to date with my firmware. Looks like I may have to do some research into a new tracker. I sure hope it will still be a fitbit, but with all the new trackers available I may end up leaving over a small item such as this. Very disappointing!

I tried everything, too - and am a very satisfied customer at this point. The Fitbit team responded to me (I was amazed - a couple of times within an hour over a holiday weekend) - asked me for proof of purchase (fortunately, my husband had saved the receipt) and after I emailed it to them, said they'd send a replacement fitbit....which I received already yesterday. It's working just great - I hadn't realized how dim my old one had gotten! Thanks, Fitbit!

I am having the same problem with my Fitbit 3 losing brightness no matter what setting it is on The display is too dim to see unless I’m in a dark room. Obviously this is unacceptable.

When this happened to me, it turned out to be a defective Fitbit. Since I was still under warranty they sent me a replacement.
I'm guessing this is a problem with their watch, and it becomes useless when this happens.
