Can the display brightness be adjusted? My Charge 3 is not bright enough in normal lighting settings.

I've tried all these too with no success. The screen does seem to be getting dimmer as time goes on. My husband's FB is a bit brighter, but he's also noticed a difference. It can't be seen at all outside. Appreciate all the suggestions.

I had the same problem with the Charge 3 getting dimmer and dimmer - it got to the point where I couldn't even see the screen inside and when I could see it (in complete darkness) the screen was breaking up as well so it was impossible to read the time, etc. I contacted customer support and was able to get an offer for a replacement or 50% off a different Fitbit. If your Fitbit is under warranty, you should contact Customer Support and let them know you've tried all of the options for fixing and it has not worked.
Good luck!

The term “brightness” is ridiculous! There is no brightness except in total darkness! The charge 2 was a lot brighter. Why is the charge 3 screen so dim?

I reached out to Fitbit, followed all the suggestions and the screen was still impossible to read outside. At that point they offered me a brand new Charge 3 as my old Charge 3 was under warranty. That came in and preforms perfectly outside. I have it set on auto and i can see it very easily on bike rides or simply as a watch. Its very clear they fixed this dim issue on the new watches.

My Charge 3 is doing exactly the same thing. Cannot even see the screen indoors, let alone outdoors! Can't use it for my Cardio at all. Adjusted brightness to Normal. It's definitely gotten dimmer over the 4 months I've had it. Reset it, but no difference at all.
Not a good product

I am having same problem. Mine was given to me as a gift for Christmas. Was working well but the last few weeks the brightness is very bad. I can't see anything when outside at all. Sometimes it is hard to see inside too. I have tried the restart and it doesn't make any difference.

After trying several suggestions from both the forums and Fitbit, I contacted Fitbit Customer Service. They had me go through the same exercises I already went through in addition to having me send a picture of the screen. After a few days of not hearing anything, I followed up with them and at that point they did replace the Fitbit. The new one seems to be fine. They followed up with recommendations for keeping it clean, etc.; but it was really nothing new nor things I hadn't already been doing. So hopefully, this Fitbit will perform like the ones I've had previously.

read it & even at night I can't read it!

I would suggest contacting Fitbit direct. I went through a couple of tests (shutting the Fitbit down for different intervals and then restarting it as they had suggested, and it did not work). The Fitbit continued to loose it's brightness. Couldn't even see it when I was inside the house. I did make sure I had all the Fitbit updates processed. Sometimes there are fixes within those. If those don't work for you, I would contact them and let them know what you've tried and what the condition of the Fitbit is. They may end up replacing it for you.

I have the same problem as many others - I've had the Charge3 for 8 months (Christmas gift) and it's getting dimmer and dimmer. I have it set to Normal Brightness but can't read it at all outside and it's very dim inside. When I try to check the settings, "Vibrations" comes up. I can scroll down so that "Brightness" appears but it won't stay on the screen so I can't even try to adjust it. I've restarted and reset it many times. Help?!
