@LHatch_29  Since we are on the charging topic, I want to emphasize that you should NEVER charge it from an external battery.

I know of no way to charge a Charge 3 with a phone charger. I saw that
someone else posted that it was possible, but never saw how this could be
done.

So here I am in 2020 with the question of will the adaptive fast charger hurt it? I can't find the input Volt number on any of the charge 3's packaging or pdf manual or safety booklet and whatnot. Even tho the charger says 9V-5V it fries some other small electronics i've used.

Hi, I know this is a few months late, but I wanted to give you my input on this. A device will only ever draw from a charger the max it can take. You won't "fry" your FitBit by using any sort of charger. Fast charging by default, however, does shorten any battery's lifespan. Usually, it's negligible "damage" and you'll most likely be upgrading your device before the battery's lifespan becomes an issue.
