Every night when I go to sleep, my Fitbit Charge 2 lights up when I move my wrist in a position that it interprets as me lifting my wrist to check the time or my steps. This glowing light in turn wakes up my wife and makes sleep difficult for the both of us. Is it possible to turn off this feature at night so it won't light up during a predefined period each day? Otherwise, I might be forced to stop wearing it each night when I sleep which defeats the purpose of tracking my sleep patterns. Thak you in advance for your help.

Hi, so each time I go to bed I have to enable or desable this function?
Won´t it be easyer for users to set a "do not disturb" time zone?
Best regards.

I have Quickview turned off all of the time and that works fine during the day. However, the Blaze lights up every time I move at night, waking me and my husband.

It sounds like you are having the same problem that I am- with Quickview turned OFF, the Blaze lights up randomly at night when I am sleeping. Right? So, what can we do?

If quickview is off, then a tap of the button or a double tab of the disply is needed.
Im not giving you an answer, just saying what is needed to turn the light on.

I don't really think I am double tapping or pushing buttons in my sleep. But interestingly, I find it hard or impossible to get it to do this during the day.

I think what most users are looking for is a feature update that allows us to control when the unit can light up. We don't want to manually turn it off/on each night/morning. We'd like to have a setting that we can configure to turn off the light-up feature automatically, for example off at 9pm and then automatically turn on the feature, for example at 7am. Can Fitbit include this feature soon?

I think it's a great idea. However, I have concluded that my Blaze is just defective. I have never turned on Quick View and yet all I have to do is tap my Blaze or shake my arm and it lights up. So now I just set the Brightness on Dim at bedtime and put a tennis wristband over it to block the light whenever it randomly lights up at night. Not a very satisfying solution to my problem, but easier to live with than before...

Since my Quickview is turned off already, I do not find that this is an actual solution. I bought my Fitbit partially to track sleep, but it keeps waking me up by lighting up randomly at night.

Did you, or anyone here, find a solution to this? I have this issue too and Fitbit Support has no answer (yet).

The only 'solution' suggested was to wear something over it when sleeping, but that's just like putting a band-aid over the problem, it does not fix it, just covers it up.

No, there doesn't seem to be a real solution. Just set the brightness to "dim", put a tennis wristband over it, and hope that when it lights up randomly, it won't be as bright. Pretty pathetic! It seems like turning the brightness off would be a good option, but dim is the best they offer.

Thanks. I don't see a 'dim' setting.
The tennis wristband is the current solution I'm working, but you're right, it's very pathetic!

On the Blaze, if you scroll over to Settings, it's right under Quickview (which says off!!!!) . It says Brightness, and you just touch it to switch between Dim, Normal, Auto and Max.

Got it. I'm on a Charge 2, which is why I can't find that setting. Thanks!
