Cant connect to my charge2 device

I had previously connected to my charge2 device from a samsung S6, which has subsequently been stolen. I have purchased a Samsung A20, but cannot connect to my charge2 device at all. 

 

I removed all devices through the Android App.

Further to this, I have followed all the steps describing restarting the charge2 device, switching off wifi, reinstalling the app etc. .....all to no avail

 

For interest, I have tried this from another samsung S6 without any success either. 

 

please help 😞

I'm having the same problem with my new Samsung A50 not syncing with my Charge 2...getting really frustrated!!!

When changing phones the procedure is to install the Fitbit app, log into the users Fitbit app. Now the user would accept any permissions requested. 

The new phone is now setup. 

@ruthdcz. I'm not sure what Android App all devices where removed from? Did you remove the Charge 2 from your account? Why?

@Rad2118. may I ask for more detail? Is the Charge 2 still connected to the Fitbit account.

I've already tried doing all these things but still no joy. I've tried connecting the Charge 2 to four different devices but it doesn't sync to any of them. I even tried taking the Fitbit and the new phone back to where it was bought but they couldn't connect it either.

It keeps telling me there are bluetooth issues...I've tried with bluetooth on and off. I'm connected all the time in settings.

What is frustrating is that the phone was purchased on 20 June and the Fitbit synced on 26 June but hasn't/can't/won't sync since!!!
