I currently own a Fitbit Charge 2 and cannot get my Charge 2 to display my Microsoft Outlook calendar reminders.
Since the Charge 3 is supposed to be a cross b/t a "smart watch" and a fitness tracker, will it be "smart" enough to display my Microsoft Outlook calendar reminders? IF NOT, it's not worth purchasing. The default on the Charge 2 is only either the Google calendar.or the default calendar on my Galaxy Note 8.
Thank you for your response.

That is going to be a function of the Fitbit app not the tracker itself. The other trackers, Ionic/Versa, likely have the same limitation.

Shirt answer most likely yes @nfryar, it might depend on the type of phone iOS and Android I would say yes
As for reminders @Michael is correct,
This is a function of the Fitbit app on the phone.
Long answer
With the Blaze, Ionic, and Versa the user can choose up to 100 apps on the phone to receive notifications from.
The Charge 3 runs the same OS as the Versa and Ionic, so my guess is that if the phone can display outlook notifications, then they can also be sent to the Charge 3.

@nfryar -
My current device combination (until Wednesday) is an Alta HR with iOS. It is my understanding that the Fitbit app only subscribes to calendar notifications from the "default" calendar - i.e. the iOS calendar.
As a workaround, I routinely forward very important Outlook calendar events to my gmail account. My Outlook for iOS still buzzes my phone, but the very important calendar events buzz my wrist. The only drawback to that is that the event organizer receives a notification that I added someone. When asked, I query back "You don't want me to miss the meeting, right?" That nearly always ends the discussion, unless they want an explanation as to how I use the calendar event.
Like you, I would love to have the Fitbit app subscribe to multiple calendars. But this "fix" works for me.

Please see page 21 of the Charge 3anual. You will notice that the Charge 3 like, like the Versa and the ionic has the ability to receive notifications from up to 100 registered apps on the phone.
This is chosen by going under App Notifications.
All user manuals may be downloaded from fitbits extensive, interactive and searchable help site.

Going to have to wait a couple more days to verify the CHARGE 3 help page that says:
" If you want to see calendar notifications, make sure any other calendar apps are synced with your default calendar app. Only the default app sends notifications. "
It is that sync from office365 to iCalendar that I am having a problem with at the current time - with my iOS device.

Finally got the sync from office365 to the iOS Calendar to work, with calendar reminders hitting my Alta HR. So it is almost a cinch that they will hit my Charge 3 in a few days.
Of course, Rich and Necole use an Android device where, I believe, the "default calendar" is user selectable. Not so with iOS.

Yes @MrMarv on Android I'm aware that the default calendar is user selectable, and on iOS it is not. As mentioned above, even under iOS / Fitbit notifications there is a setting for App notifications, from here you can choose up to 100 apps on the phone to send their notifications to the wrist.
This is how I get my time to sleep Fitbit notification, along with tweets to my wrist

Believe me, I know that you know what you know. Seriously, you are one of the more knowledgeable individuals on the boards.
And I'm looking forward to seeing just what apps are available to sync to on my Charge 3 starting this evening, assuming Amazon delivers what is reported as being en route. Rarely are they wrong.
I would like to be able to "undo" the sync between exchange and the iOS calendar and just have Outlook for iOS send the reminders. The way I have it now, I get one reminder to my wrist and two to my phone, though I believe I can remove the one from Outlook within the application. Not going to worry about it until I've had my Charge 3 in place for a few days.

Is there someplace online where we can see the 100 apps that sync with the trackers? I am considering purchasing either the Charge 3 or Versa, but I'd like to know ahead of time which apps I'd be able to see notifications from. Thanks!

I did not say that it is only 100 apps, I say that you are able to set Fitbit to send notifications for up to 100 apps.
The apps would be any app on your phone that is able to send a notification. Tap here
Choose from the list if registered apps
The app has to be on the phone and be able to send a 65

And I can now say I have disabled the sync of the Outlook calendar with the iOS calendar.
With the Charge 3 I was able to turn on notifications for Outlook for iOS and have calendar alerts and email alerts with full email text displaying on the device.
Now I'm just waiting to see exactly what iOS Maps is going to alert me with. Never a dull moment in Geek Land.

@Rich_Laue you know just reciting the manual to someone does not really assist them. It would be just as easy to say, on Page 21 it appears syncing directly to outlook is not an option.
