Cardio fitness score showing me in wrong age group

Hi, I’ve had my Fitbit charge 2 since January this year, I turn 30 in November but since I have been using it my cardio fitness graph groups me in the 30-39 age group. 

My date of birth on my profile is showing correct so why am I not in the 20-29 age group, why specify the age group for each year and put me in the wrong one, I just want the data to be represented as accurately as possible, I don’t want to be put in an older group to give a better score.

Has anyone else had this problem or do they know why Fitbit does this?

Haven't heard of that happening, but might try changing you birth date to another age group, sync, then set it back right, sync again, and see if that fixed it.

I made myself a year younger and it put me in the right group, but it changed back to the 30-39 group once I changed it back to my normal birth date.

It didn’t affect my fitness score however so I guess it doesn’t matter too much, it’s just odd

I am having same problems. My bday is put in too, but it has me in 30-32 age. I am 61. My fitness score shows I am in poor status. Did u get prob fixed?

I have the same problem I’m 59 and I’m in the 60-69 age group. I think it must just work it out on year of birth rather than exact age.

Same problem here, I'm 37, I'm in the 38-42 age group. I don't think it's by year of birth, I've already had my birthday this year.

I’m 60 in a couple of months. I’m interested to know if the ranges for excellent, v.good, good etc are correct for your actual age and it’s just the age range at the top that’s wrong because I’ve seen an image on google that has the exact same ranges with Women 50-59 at the top. Mine has >33.9 for excellent, 30.7-33.9 for v.good etc but says age range 60-69.
