Hi,
I have been using a fitbit charge HR for over 6 months. Over the past 3 months, I have been relatively more focused on my fitness and have been going on runs almost every morning.
In the past 2 months, I have been running on a route near my house that is around 5.5 km long and takes me around 32 min. While I try to ensure that all my runs are gps tracked, the route shown on the map afterwards is sometimes incomplete. However, I have counted at least 25 runs in this period where I see that the gps tracking has been complete. The whole route is also almost perfectly flat. I also generally maintain a steady pace of around 10km/hr during these runs.
Despite this, my cardio fitness score is shown as a range of 49-53 rather than a single value. The fitbit documentation says that if you go on a few gps tracked runs of at least 10 min, it will start showing a specific value rather than a range. Any thoughts on why this hasn't happened with me?
Regards,
-Vinay

Hello @vinayns and welcome to the Help forums. Just to clarify, you say you are using a Charge HR and that means you track your runs using the Fitbit app? That you tap on the exercise tile > stopwatch > track? When you do this, do you get a heart rate trace in your details or a not enough data message? People who use the app to track runs have been complaining that the heart rate disappeared last October.
If this is the case, I think the issue is that the app needs the heart rate data to calculate the cardio fitness score as a single number. This is guess, but an educated guess.
