Been trying to get this charge 3 to stay in sync with my phone and the clock is 30 minutes off. At 1pm the clock is showing 12:30am.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @RonMack! Note that if your tracker is not paired, it won't show the correct time as it grabs the time of your phone. Check this post in case the time keeps showing wrong.
If your Charge 3 is still not syncing, I'd recommend following the troubleshooting steps at: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
If the issue persists after the above steps, please go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and remove the tracker. In the list of Bluetooth devices you'll see the Charge 3 and next to it, this symbol "!". Hit the symbol and it will take you to the next step, once you're there select the option that says "Forget this device" or "Unpair".
Once you've made sure about that, go back to the Fitbit app, go to the "Account" option in the upper right corner and select "Set up a Device". This should start the setup process for your device.
If you can't get started with your Fitbit device, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements at: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

There’s a huge issue with syncing not working consistently. Until that’s fixed, it’ll be a problem.

Mine is off the 30 min too. What is the problem and why is it taking so long to correct it? I don't want to have to set up my device again. There should be an easier fix!
