I love the idea of the relax app, but the breathing is too quick for me. I feel as though I am hyperventilating when I try to follow the pace set by the app. Is there any way to change the breaths per minute? Ideally I'd like to change it to 4bpm, as it is currently much higher than that.

Same here. I'm finding the breathing rate is too fast. Good recommendation for an improvement. A little more flexibility to tailor the program, including slowing breath within the session as well.

I agree. It is so fast that if I follow it with high accuracy it actually increases my heart rate.

Yes agree I practice pranayama and am a scuba diver and if I followed the app I would have to increase my breathing rate. Not relaxing. This needs a software fix.

I absolutely agree. Feel like I hyperventilating, and I start feeling lightheaded and dizzy when I follow the app. Eather that, or I need the take way smaller breaths. It's ment the be relaxing but it just fwwls atressing 😳

Completely agree it goes at least twice as fast as I need it to and that's a bit ridiculous. I wish they would let us adjust the rate.

Agreed - The breathing rate is ridiculously too fast for anyone who is actually fit and active.
The "sensing" part of the process is clearly completely inaccurate.
My heart rate goes actually up when I try and use this feature - thus rendering it useless.

Yes, I have seen mine raise too. The ap rases it to somewhere in the 80, and usually I am somewhere in the 60‘ies. If it's only ment for stress control of getting a +100 puls down, then the naming "Relax" seems off.

And what will Fitbit do about it?

Mine too. Resting heart rate was 70 and after 2 minutes breathing with the app it was 75. It feels very rushed to me. I tried breathing less volume which was awkward and my purple turned to blue for a bit. When I stopped my head was buzzing / light. I’d love to control the tempo.

There is a short period at the beginning of the "relax" feature where it claims to be "sensing your breathing" but I find it does not at all calibrate itself to my very long and very slow deep breaths. Based on this forum it seems I am not the only one disappointed by this feature's lack of flexibility.

Thx for the answer, would it be possible to introduce it ?
