I bought a Charge 2 in 2017 and I it was working exceptionally well. I even gifted it to my wife and my 2 cousins as I was very happy with it. All of a sudden, past 3 days, the battery has been draining from 100% to 0% in less than 3 - 4 hours. I tried all the troubleshooting steps and suggestions provided and turned off all the settings but it was of no help. I called the customer support and they asked me to do a drain test and confirmed that the battery has gone bad. But since the warranty is only for 1 year, they say that they cannot help me and can only offer a 25% discount on my next Fitbit. Not sure if I am ready to go with another with this experience but is there any way I can salvage my current Fitbit?

Hi @SriniRamkumar there are a few things you can do, but since the test shows the battery is dying, it's not going to last long. You can change settings to sync only when you wanted to and to turn off any notifications, alarms, etc. Anything that makes the Fitbit do more behind the scenes work is making the battery wear down. Restarting it will help some, but it's not going to last forever. Might be time to think which style you'd like to have for your replacement.

Thank you @Odyssey13 . I restarted my Fitbit multiple times and also turned off all the alarms, notifications, Reminders, Heart Rate, Quick View, Sync, basically everything. And still it lasted only a few hours. Yes, I am thinking of a replacement but I doubt it would be a Fitbit 😞
