First, I recently noticed that when I complete an exercise, I am not receiving "credit" for any active minutes although my total steps and calories expended appear accurate.
Second, while I am out on a brisk walk and attempting to watch the time, I am unable to see anything on the screen until I find a shady spot. Is this normal? Honestly, I have not noticed this in the past as being a problem.
Any assistance would be helpful. Thanks.

@Bopeep1955 Thanks for stopping by!
Let me help you with your active minutes and the brightness on your Charge 2 screen. Active minutes are granted for the most intense activity your tracker detects this won't equal the amount of time you do an exercise. For example if you go for a walk and do this for an hour but decide to actually jog or run for 20 minutes of that hour, your hour long activity will be detected but most likely will be awarded only 20 active minutes as these were the intense ones. You can read more about active minutes and how they are calculated here so you can compare it with your activity.
Regarding the brightness if you feel this has decreased you can try restarting it by following these instructions.
Let me know how it goes.
