Charge 2 - Activities no longer storing GPS or distance

Activities started on my Charge 2 will no longer store the GPS or distances when the activity has ended.  This is a bug on the Fitbit app/server.  I've used the Charge 2 to do runs and used my phone GPS for years and it's been working fine until this week.  The Charge 2 will display the accurate distance during the run, but Fitbit app will not show/store the GPS data or the distance of the run.  GPS is active and being used by Fitbit during the activity since there are phone notifications about Fitbit using GPS.

This is NOT resolvable by restarting or reinstalling app.  This appears to be a Fitbit issue.  Perhaps they're dropping Charge 2 support, or support for watches without GPS onboard.  The Fitbit app is the latest version available.

Fitbit is also no longer recognizing that the activity was started on the Charge 2.  For every run/activity Fitbit shows the device that triggered it.  For runs started on my Google Pixel Watch, it will show as being from the PW in Fitbit.  For runs started on Charge 2, it will show up blank and no indication it was the Charge 2.

Prior to this week, the runs on Sept 3rd DO show that it was started on the Charge 2.  All of this is related and seems to have started around week of Sept 9th.
