BPM hasn't worked since January 12th, even after restarting the device and trying to change the setting to "On." It is synced, and the app is up to date. Using Samsung Galaxy S9.

@mrfaulk1 Welcome! It's nice to have you on board!
Let me help you with your Charge 2 not reading your heart rate and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. I suggest you clean the back of your device with cotton and rubbing alcohol and restart it. Turn the heart rate off, save and sync then turn it on save and sync again. Also check these tips to improve the heart rate reading on your device.
Let me know how it goes.

I am having the same issue. If I get any type of reading, it's crazy high. I have tried your suggestions, including resetting my Charge 2, but am confused when you say to turn the heart rate off. How do I do this? I have gone to advance settings, and cannot find it there. I am unable to get into the settings, since that area is and always has been greyed out for me, which means I cannot click on it. I know that the high readings I am getting are not correct since I have used my blood pressure monitor to check my heart rate, and actually taken my pulse to ensure that my heart rate is not at the over 200 that my fitbit sometimes show. This thing is driving me nuts and is causing me hives! It's also throwing off all of the other readings on the fitbit, such as exercise time and calories burned. I'm about ready to give up on this thing. Please, help!

No dice.
Used rubbing alcohol on the back, restarted it, turned off heart rate, synced, then turned it on auto and synced. No reading.
What else can i do?

Maybe they are updating something, I can get a heart rate but all of the past logs and today's heart rate log no longer shows. Kinda wish Google had not bought them, seems to be going down hill.
Hope you can get yours working.

I gave up. Didn't get much help, and what I did get didn't work...so my fiance gave me his Charge 3.
Good luck with yours!
