Hi,
I have a charge 2 that I have had for about 2 years now and recently I purchased a bike. I cannot get the GPS tracking to work when I use the bike exercise mode.
I have checked if "Connected to GPS" is enabled for that exercise and it is.I have restarted my device and also made sure that location permissions work. GPS does work because when I use the Run exercise I get GPS data and if I go into the fitbit app add exercise and look at the tracker I have a strong GPS signal.
I have an Android 8.0 device One Plus 5. I have restarted the device and made sure that the app can run in the background which it does, but I still can't get the bike+gps working?

FIXED THE ISSUE!
I contacted support and well they were all pretty useless except first guy who was helpful but still couldn't solve it.
Anyway for those who have an issue on the OnePus 5 Android 8.0 (Oxygen OS 5.0.4).
Simply delete your charge 2 from the Android App (Sync any data you want before or you'll lose it!) and then re-add it.
It should then work.
Side notes
Ensure fitbit app can run in background and "GPS Connected" is enabled for bike exercise in the fitbit app under Fitbit App > Account > Charge 2 > Exercise Shortcuts.
Hope this helps someone!

@SunsetRunner, when you press the side button to start the Bike activity, do you see the phone icon at the top of the screen with the dashed line attempting to connect to the phone GPS? If so, does it then get a diagonal line through the phone icon?

Hi no there isn't. However, if doing a run exercise there is a phone icon abd gps works fine.
Connected to gps for bike is on

How do I select 'Bike' in the 'Track exercise' screen? I only get Run, Walk and Hike options. GPS tracks route and distance etc. I enabled the Charge HR to record my stint by holding the button down till the device vibrates, as per.
