Charge 2 Blank Screen But green lights on

Charge 2 screen went black. The green lights on still. I tried charging, restarting but no luck. It vibrates and shows working on app. Any ideas???

Yes you either misread my post or I combined a reply from separate
messages. One has remedies the other cannot be fixed.

Your charge 2 has lasted more than most that post here. Don’t know of any
fix. My ionic has held up better so I think the newer models will also last
longer.

Mine is a Charge 3 and failed after 10 months, now all the notifications have failed on the replacement under guarantee after another 10 months. The build quality is shocking.

Lucky you! I am honestly just giving fitbit up and trying other fitness smart watches. Fitbit has been a great disappointment. After my charge 2 screen went blank last year, I upgraded to a charge 4. They offered me, like they usually do, a 30% off coupon and I bout a 4. It wasn’t cheap honestly. Wishing less than 6 months, that thing was dead. I was devastated and angry. I didn’t even call them but I should have, maybe I would have gotten a replacement since it was still working warranty. I don’t know if I am too late to contact them now but ai honestly believe they just sent me a piece of junk. It was a real ripoff. I am very very sad and depressed about the whole situation. These things are not cheap and the way the pandemic rages on, I would have loved to hang on to that thing for longer than the under 6 months I got. I don’t know what the recourse is but hopefully they can still replace it for me

My charge 3 has done the same thing this morning. The alarm went off but the screen is black. I have charged it fully and tried to restart it and clean it as you suggested but it’s still not working. It is syncing to my phone and my steps are being registered but there is nothing on the screen. Please can you advise further.

If you Google the problem it comes back with step by step instructions and
mine did come back after a few days. I wish you luck. Fit bit will give you
a voucher to your next fit bit if you contact them obviously there is a
fault.

Under warranty FitBit has been excellent for me. Don’t know how it will be
for you because you have waited to ask for a replacement. I think they
will be able to look at your account and see when you quit using it and may
take that into account. I recommend you contact them ASAP for best
results.

My fitbit charge 2 started with lines on the screen then went blank. The pro here is my fitbit charge now last 10 days, with no display. The con's pretty obvious, no display, can't tell one's progress, time, heartrate, steps, whether it's charging or not. Must do all through the fitbit app. Telling whether the charge 2 is charging or not is challenging. It's a Fitbit, I didn't expect the best when buying, it's lived up to it's lack of quality. Still work's with no display.

Tried all the things you mentioned yet the screen is blank. The green lights at the underside keep flickering. The watch vibrates when put on charge.

 

Can you pls guide as to what could be wrong and how to fix the problem.

I am afraid if you have tried the previous options then I do not know.
I do not have mine any more as totally black screen and while I got it working it was for about 73 hours!
I am not aiming to replace it either as not impressed with lack of help from apple and have nothing to convince me it wouldn’t happen again if I got a newer model

My Fitbit charge 2 suddenly stopped working, won't turn on,won't charge when I try to, not even a vibration. I've tried troubleshooting but no sign of light but it's still connected to my app. Tried drying it out but won't still work. But once I disconnect it from power it blinks a green light twice and then goes off again but the screen remains black still

It has to be less than a year old.  I’m so frustrated with Fitbit.  Mines doing this as well.  I’ve probably purchased 10 Fitbits total. They last a little over a year and something goes wrong and they’re past warranty.

The screen for my Charge 2 has a blank screen while the green lights are on. I have tried the recommendations and posts from this thread but it did not help.

Your kind support would be highly appreciated.

 

Beside the black screen. The ‘track your exercise’, heart rate , steps, floors, exercise period, sleep and step/hour function are disappear.

The only option is to sync your fitbit with the device the app is on to get
its readings. Once that stops working it is completely broken and not
repairable.

No sync problem, your answer it seems no solution to get the screen back to normal from black screen and no solution to recovery/set up exercise information that disappears.

 

Please let me know if I have miss understanding. Thank you.
