Every time I charge my Fitbit, it dies about 5 minutes later. This just started happening very abruptly about 5 days ago. I’ve had my Charge 2 for almost 3 1/2 years, and it’s served me well. I don’t know if the battery just all-of-a-sudden went bad or if my Fitbit ran its course. What can I do to get my Fitbit back? Is there a solution?

@raechelw It's great to see you in the Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.
Let me help you with your Charge 2 not holding a charge. Try cleaning the contacts using cotton swab with rubbing alcohol, then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's USB port (try different ports) or use an UL-certified USB adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves. You can follow these instructions to help improve the battery life.
Let me know how it goes.

My Fitbit Charge2 started to do this too on the weekend, but not dying immediately. Last night I put it to charge, and when I woke at 8am, put it on. It died around 11.20am.
I have tried to recharge it from different USB outlets, but usually it is plugged in to to computer's USB. And it has always charged up, now it just dies so suddenly.
I have also taken off the constant syncing and only have it on manual sync, but no effect.
I think the battery is just done.

And to add, what I noticed also, is that the heart rate green lights are constantly on now, when the Fitbit is on.
