It would appear the glass/plastic covering the HR sensor on my Charge 2 has cracked inward, meaning this is no longer sealed from dust and sweat.

Hi @asozio sorry that happened. You're probably past warranty. Might be time to get a new Fitbit, with all the new styles out there.

That is a terrible attitude to have towards a product, and hopefully does not express the opinion of Fitbit themselves. Had I spent this kind of money on another brand tracker or watch I would not expect failure after less than 2 years, and certainly would be hesitant purchasing from the same manufacturer again. My previous 'watch' is still functional after a much longer life regardless of being 'past warranty'. Warranty should not equal lifespan for a product.
