Charge 2 HR not advising arrival of texts/phone calls

My phone is not a new one (Samsung Galaxy S8) and it is about a week since my Fitbit HR stopped advising of incoming calls/texts notifications.  Have restarted my phone, checked the Fitbit App and notifications turned on.  Any suggestions what else I can do please.
