A friend of mine gave me her Charge 2 and it was working perfectly fine. After connecting the band to my phone, it suddenly stopped working. The green lights behind the band were not on, I plugged into the charger and there was no vibration. The screen did not come on either. Looking through the internet, I tried the reset method multiple times and that did not help either. I left the band connected to a wall outlet for 24 hours and it still does not turn on. I did talk to support and they said that the last battery level was at 65% so I doubt the battery is dead, especially if I had left it plugged in for over 24 hours.
Any help will be appreciated in trying to bring life to this band back!!

Hi, @sj21 , are yu sure your wall charger was working? I would definitely suggest trying a different charger (different plug unit for sure, possibly different outlet) from what you have said. You could also try plugging it into a computer USB port, but the port would need to be directly connected to the motherboard (i.e. not on a hub) and you should also remember that generally speaking a computer will not deliver power to USB ports unless it is awake and active.
Did the Charge 2 ever definitely connect to your phone? Do you see it as set up on your Fitbit account?
You say that you tried the reset procedure. Did you see anything on the screen when you reset, or feel any vibration?
Please do post again with further information. Of it was working well for yur friend when she gave it to you, I feel confident that it could be working for you.

Hi Julia,
Yes I did try different chargers, as well as plugging it into my laptop. It did charge when I had first plugged it in and paired it to my phone.
Yes it did connect to my phone and it does show up on my account, showing that the last battery percentage was at "Medium" charge.
I did not see anything on the screen nor feel the vibration. I have had it plugged in since Friday and it still has not turned on.

My fitbit stopped working 2 months after the warrenty had run out. It has not been damaged in any way, its just died. I have contacted customer support, the 'help' ive had has been very generic. The best they can do as its out of warranty is offer me 25% discount off a new device...come on fitbit..2 months!! I expected more help from such an iconic, multi million pound company. But to be honest, i would now be loathe to purchase another fitbit product and will never recommend them again. So people beware, and fitbit, thanks for nothing.

Over a week now and it STILL has not turned on and I have received no other help from Fitbit. Looks like I'll be telling my friend to not buy a Fitbit and find myself a better tracker.
