My Fitbit Charge 2 flashed "Notifications Off", Notifications On" over and over, and reset / hard factory reset did not work at all. I wasn’t able to even get it turned on. I left it on the charger over night then did a quick reset in the morning. When I was finally able to get it to turn on, it displayed "Go to Fitbit.com/setup". Tried to setup twice; the app didn't recognize the setup number my Fitbit displayed. Had to turn Bluetooth on and Off. Then it recognized the number. I went through the entire setup and it worked normally for an hour. Then the "Notifications Off", "Notifications On" started flashing again. Plugged it in and restarted it four time and unplugged it. You guessed it. On/Off flashing again. Plugged it in again and now battery charging display appears when I tap it. If I leave it alone, the screen goes blank. This is my second Fitbit Charge 2 and I've had it a year and half. I have never seen this before

If I remember rightly, you can quickly switch notifications on / off by pressing and holding the button. Could it be that the button is stuck in? Try gently wiggling it to see if it feels free. If it is stuck in and you can't release it then I think it's dead.

No, it is constantly vibrating. It won’t stop the on/ off notifications option.... or i have to leave it with the power awww screen on. Just so it tracks my HR and steps. I already have ordered the charge 4 and it’s on the way but I’m annoyed!
