I hope that Fitbit can add Ski activities tracking to Charge 2.
I found a post in feature suggestion board discussing regarding this feature, here is the link:https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Suggestions/Cross-country-skiing-tracking-on-Charge-2-please...
I am posting here just want to ask everyone who wants the same feature added into Charge 2 contribute to the topic and stay in one post so the developers can see us.
I also found a post that suggestd to add ski tracking to Surge, here is the linkhttps://community.fitbit.com/t5/Surge/Downhill-Skiing-w-Surge/td-p/666748
In the post someone mentioned using bike tracking to track downhill ski, it somehow worked.

Welcome to all of you , it's great to see you around @Dreamix, @Fioste, @cherry-tutu!
That would certainly be a very useful implementation @Dreamix, thanks for taking the time to share the idea you found in the Feature Suggestion board, the more attention and votes the better, and this section is reviewed constantly by the team of developers.
Thanks again for the contribution, happy stepping.

Amazed my new charge 2 doesn't have a x-country setting ! C'mon guys, figure it out. I tried both walk and run, neither is in the ballpark.. otherwise, the 2 is great, not as accurate as my HR tho what ch is kind and of disappointing

I just got the charge 2 for Christmas. First thing I'm trying to set up is skiing... I do this as a daily activity... Downhill and backcountry touring... I would love for this to be added and to have it GPS! Also crossfit... How do I get that on?

Welcome all to the forums @Faes, @Yurtguy, @FNV, @MtnAdventure, @Billyfit, it'd be great to have other workouts included, I do recommend that you direct all these specific suggestions to the Feature Suggestion board since this board is reviewed by the team of developers looking for the best and most popular ideas.

Please add skiing to the tracking activities - my husband brought me this fitbit for Christmas after being assured it would work the same as ski tracks because it had GPS! Clearly that is not the case sort it out guys.

One more vote for alpine skiing. Come on, if yoga and golf are added, I'm sure you can develop skiing too.

Please add downhill skiing as an exercise option to Fitbit charge 2. I average 2-3 days a week and would like it to count toward my activity goals. Thank you!

I use a Nordic Track ski machine for my regular exercise, but still haven't found a reliable way for the Charge2 to track my steps or calories.

I also had a lot of steps count today downhill skiing. Very surprising. Suddenly I could have lots of après beers as I was allowed many calories! Unfortunately, no steps were logged folding laundry when I got home. Anyway, I'm wondering how accurate the steps are when logged downhill skiing.
