Hi FitBit,
My Charge 2 has taken a plunge into uselessness recently. It was working fine up until last week. I charged it as usual over the weekend, but when I put it on after a full charge the battery life dissipated almost immediately and it died. Since then I've tried cleaning it and the charger and charging it multiple times using i
various charging ports (computer, wall plug, etc.). However, it will sometimes not charge at all, even though the screen will light up like it's charging, or it will fully charge and then immediately plunge down to battery death within just a few minutes. Is my Charge 2 broken or is this a known error? Thanks for your assistance.

My Charge 2 won't keep a charge. It went dead in the middle of the night, charged to 100% this morning, it just died again. How odd is it that this a new problem with several folks suddenly? Was there a software upgrade or something?

My charge 2 has just stopped working too except there's no indication that mine is charging except it gets a bit warm. I cleaned it throughly and even bought a new charging cable. The battery completely died and has just stopped working! Had it about 3 years.

It starting doing the same to me this week as well. I charged it yesterday and its dead again not even24hours later.

Mine is also doing the same thing. I’ve seen so many posts within the last week of others with the same issue. Makes you wonder if some type of an update was pushed forcing these to fail...

Glad to see it isn't just me. So frustrated... I charged mine yesturday evening, it was dead again this morning. I charged it this morning, showed 85%, went for a 2 mile walk, it only counted 409 steps before it died again!!

My problem is same and also started Monday August 24. From other strings, the only solution they have is to clean the charging contacts on the Charge and the cord and make sure it is connected to a computer or UL charger. Hasn’t helped me.

Mine has done the same today charged ,my phone says it's 100% charged yet it's got a black screen and when I plug it in says it's out of charge ...it's not doing anything

After denials of an issue with an app update and no help from Fitbit support plus ghosting by Fitbit “experts” of conversations in the community, my Charge 2 seems to be working properly after the latest app update.
