Charge 2 Won't charge due to contacts

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The gold contacts on the underside of my charge 2 seem to have been wiped off they are no longer gold and when you clamp the charger the watch doesn't respond. It did at first where it lit up and charged. then then next time it lit up for a few seconds and hasn't come on since. I'd hate to buy a new fitbit since this one works fine except for the charging issue. Is there any way to fix it? it's 3 years old.

Hello @Jite25   Fitbit recommends two thing for a charging contact problem.  Clean the contacts on the back of the device with rubbing alcohol and a toothbrush -- don't try to clean the contacts with anything metal.  Clean the pins in the charging cable with alcohol and a cotton swab.
