Charge 2 Won't recharge after battery dropping to zero

I'm not sure what happened but my watch won't take a change anymore. While on vacation the batter ran dry which rarely happens. and now when plugged in it won't charge. 

 

is this part of the latest update issue also?

It happened to me BEFORE I had updated my firmware.  I had let the battery go completely dead for about 3 weeks.  Then it seemingly would not charge, but I found out that it actually had been charging.  It just needed RESET to have the display show correctly again.  I then also reset my phone.

I had followed the FITBIT suggestion of

1.  cleaning the contact tips

2.  Connect the Fitbit to it's charger

3.  Plug the charger into a wall socket

4.  While in this charging mode, hold down the button for at least 4 seconds until the Fitbit resets.

As I said, then I also reset my phone by restarting it.  Hope that also helps you.    Jeanne
