Every time I open the app I get a red point in the far right bottom corner, like there are messages or announcements. There are no new ones however. I openes all old once just in case but it keeps happening everytime I open the app. Seriously thinking of quiting the use of the app because of this. Any solitions?

The same thing is happening to me, very annoying. I think I’ve tried everything including rebooting the device. Can anyone help?

This notification problem seems to be fixed as of about 10:40EST on 1/31/19.

I don’t think it was anything I did but I’m hoping it was Fitbit at work and that it doesn’t reappear. Thank you!😍👍

Unfortunately for me it is not fixed yet. I rebooted my iPhone, but still I get the annoying red dot. Help still greatly appreciated!

For me it had been happening since I did the last update. At what point do we contact Fitbit about this?

The only thing I can think that might has made a difference is that I don't upgrade my phone operating system and was quite behind...on purpose. I did upgrade to the current system and it was later that I noticed the red dot had finally left.  It's only been normal for about 2 days so I'm still waiting for it to return but so far it is only showing up when I actually have a message now.  Hope that helps. I do think it is time to notify Fitbit of this glitch.
